When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes - Desiderius Erasmus
There was a time when this quote applied to almost every Bengali, thanks to the abundant literary geniuses Bengal has seen over the ages. Houses overflowing with books, and not much in terms of other worldly possessions. In today's day and age of electronic media and screens, we seems to have lost the special connection we had, and the feel of holding a 'real book' and the smell of cheap printed paper.
We just couldn't get rid of that romance and nostalgia, and this is our way to try and revive the almost lost form of entertainment.
